Dear Cosmos, I must sadly admit.
I have exchanged your brilliant sun
with a cheapened artificial lamp.
Oh the madness, what have I done?
Dear Ancient Earth, I must apologize.
For I have become very unwise.
Trading the soothing bird chirps
for a jarring electronic buzz.
Dear Real World, I need your help.
Instead of social media and emojis
Send me outside for a crispy breeze
So I can once again remember who I am.
