Haiku Poem: Faded Dreams

Like dense fog at dawn

My dreams were fading away

Until I found God.

In this haiku, the person believes their dreams are fading away—just like dense fog at dawn. The fog represents the person’s normal circumstances. They don’t want the fog they are accustomed with to fade away. Otherwise, they might not find their dream or purpose in life.

However, as the fog starts to dissipate, the individual actually sees more clearly. Instead of believing their dreams were fading away, clarity is strengthened. The world becomes sharper and brighter when we begin a relationship with God. Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Blessings!
