When Adam and Eve ate of that tree.
No longer were they truly free.
After they disobeyed Gods command
They were thrown into a desolate land.
That devil was cursed to the ground
God made sure His chains were bound.
But a great promise was made that day
A future messiah who would lead the way.
To deliver humanity from original sin
And be called Lord, brother, and friend.
While in the garden paradise was lost
Jesus’s blood paid back the final cost.
The new Eden is now open for all
Who turn from sin and hear Gods call
To receive the free gift of lovely grace
And worship the Savior face to face.
