Life is the ocean,
waves crashing against the shore,
reminding us who is in control.
The depths call to us
pulling us further
where light bends and time dissolves.
We dive, thinking we can map the unknown,
as if discovery could be contained.
But the deeper we go,
the more we find we have yet to see.
We chase perfection
only to realize the horizon never ends.
Through the ages, we have built towers of thought,
inputting logic into machines,
fed knowledge into circuits,
hoping to hold infinity in our hands.
Yet we are grains of sand
on an endless ocean,
drifting between what is known
and what will always remain beyond us.
Not even time will be enough,
but maybe—just maybe—
we were never meant to grasp it all,
only to stand in awe
of the vastness before us.
