Haiku Poem: Light Wins Again

Dark clouds of sorrow

Try to shade me from the sun

But light wins again!

Life can be full of both joy and sorrow. When dark clouds try to shade us from the sun and steal our joy, just remember that light triumphs over darkness.

Jesus said He was the light of the world. His light shines in the darkness, and the darkness is not able to overcome it (John 1:5). Therefore, when we put our hope and trust in Jesus, those dark clouds will dissipate through the power of the Holy Spirit.

One of my favorite verses from Scripture is Psalm 23:4. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

This verse is a great reminder that Jesus—the light of the world and Shepherd of our souls, will never leave us or forsake us. Do not fear. Trust in Jesus. He will get us through the storms of life. Blessings!
