Haiku Poem: The Brilliant Creator

The Creator made

Fish, stars, trees, lakes, birds, dogs, seas.

Also—you and me.

The Creator is an artist. He brilliantly crafted the visible universe. All the fish in the sea and land animals were designed by God’s providential mind. The distant galaxies and stars—he fashioned for the world to see.

Not only did He create the world around us, but also you and me. As humans, we are created in His image (Gen. 1:27) because of our ability to reason, create, and understand right from wrong. The Psalmist declared: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well (Ps. 139:14).”
