Poem: Do You Remember When?

Do you remember when

We would ride our bikes

Through the entire town

Just to buy bubble gum?

Do you remember when

We would play baseball

In the middle of the street

Until the sun went down?

Do you remember when

We would play hide and seek

And climb over fences and trees

Until the starry sky fell asleep?

Do you remember when

we would skip rocks and laugh

In the moss filled lake

Until our moms yelled:

“Time to eat!”

I guess all good things

Must come to an end.
