Humanity sinned.
The Lamb of God died for us.
To be born again.
The Bible has four major themes: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. The two we often focus on are the Fall of Man and redemption found in Christ.
This is because we focus on the problem and the solution. The problem is our human depravity. We have rebelled against God. Our rebellion deserves death. The solution is the Lamb of God, Jesus of Nazareth, died for us. He who knew no sin became sin for us so that we might receive the righteousness of God.
This wonderful truth is why I wrote this haiku. I wanted to give God glory through the act of writing and literary devices like poetry. I hope and pray this haiku was uplifting for your soul. Blessings!
