Do not follow shady and vain humans.
Who turn hope into a heap of ruins.
They craftily plan to lure their prey.
Like a spider web trap on the archway.
Their enticing words are sweet to the lips.
Until it becomes a cup of bitterness.
Run from their spell like a young gazelle.
For their darkened alley path leads to hell.
Follow upright and godly-minded creatures.
Pointing you to Jesus, the king of preachers.
Then, your virtues will blossom and vices wilt.
As God frees you from the stiff chains of guilt.
