Pentecost — The Fire of the Spirit (Acts 2)

Jerusalem’s narrow streets glowed with the light of morning. Suddenly, a sound like a rushing wind tore through the alleys — powerful, alive, impossible to ignore. The Spirit moved with invisible force, stirring dust and fabric as startled faces turned toward the noise.

Inside an upper room, the disciples shielded their eyes as tongues of fire descended from above. Flames hovered, not to destroy, but to fill — illuminating every face with golden brilliance. Words burst from their lips, glowing like light itself, each syllable understood by hearts from every nation below.

Then the scene widened — fire spreading like wildfire across the city, lighting souls instead of buildings. What began as wind and flame became the spark that would change the world.

Pentecost reminds us: the Spirit still moves with power today — not always with fire and wind, but with the same unstoppable life that began in that small upper room.
