Haiku: Sea of Faces

A sea of faces.

Aspiring to be someone

In the big city.

Big cities are places of opportunity. Many people go there in order to fulfill their greatest dreams and aspirations. In the sea of faces, in the busyness of it all, they are trying to be someone. The world has a desire to show their talents and be successful. They want to be unique and set themselves from the rest of the crowd.

Aspirations are good. Striving to be somebody great is admirable. But never forget that God already loves you. The world only cares about your talents, but God cares about your soul. The city wants to benefit from your gifts, but God just wants your heart. In the end, never forget you are already accepted by God.
